After more than 50 years of running a children’s summer camp, we have a long history of helping our campers gain a wide range of new skills and practical knowledge. We feel that children should not only have a very happy and exciting camp experience, but that their time in summer camp should also enrich their lives, and add to their year round academic school skills with additional activities, such as our sports programs during the summer.
The Directors of Camp Redwood support the objective that children should not only have a very happy and exciting Day Camp experience, but that they also develop important life skills to supplement their year round academic skills aquired in school. These complementary activities focus on physical fitness, art, music, culture, nature and other productive forms of creativity.
In addition to our regular morning drop off and afternoon pick up, we will be offering a busing option for campers from the Fishkill, NY area with and additional stops in southern Dutchess and Orange Counties. This will help our children’s working parents by picking up and dropping off the day campers.

Also note, we are the only summer camp close to Fishkill that offers water skiing. We also have an indoor tennis court for rainy days as well as our outdoor tennis court as part of our regular program. In addition we offer a sleepover option when requested for the children.

Transportation
In addition to our regular morning drop off and afternoon pick up, we will be offering a busing option for campers from the Dutchess County area with stops in Poughkeepsie, Wappingers Falls, Fishkill and Beacon. We will also be featuring a Southern Orange County route with stops in Highland Falls, Harriman, Monroe, Chester, Goshen and Middletown.
