After months of anticipation, it’s here!!! Just 24 days away from opening day at Camp Redwood! There is so much going on this month, with some of our staff making an appearance at Carly’s Day at Orange County Choppers to start it all off. We will be there, as will several of our past and present campers. We are looking forward to seeing and showing some support for our camper Ben Kohn and his band Well Above Average, who will be performing at Carly’s Day on Saturday, June 2nd.
Following the excitement of Saturday, we have an Open House on Sunday, June 3rd. We are so ready for campers to be here, we’re just elated to get families and staff out to mingle and see the grounds. It’s bound to be a good time getting to see our past campers and families and meet the new ones coming in.
On Saturday, June 9th, Camp Redwood will be hosting it’s first Rookie Day! This is a day dedicated to campers who are new to the summer camp experience. It’ll be a shortened camp day to give campers and their families a taste of how much fun we will be having this summer!
