Sorry to our avid readers for the delayed posting, with the season kicking off and getting started we’ve been incredibly busy. Between our regular day activities, Pirate Treasure Hunt, Capture the Flag, Lake Minnewaska, Ice Time and other special events we’ve been on our toes 24/7.
With that said we are incredibly excited for this coming weeks theme and events. Color War is one of Camp Redwood’s favorite traditions. When camp is split into teams of Maroon and White who know what will happen; songs are sung, chants begin and some good ole fashion healthy competition is set in place.
In addition to our color war activities we have a very exciting overnight trip planned for Friday into Saturday evening. We are taking our campers to see the Hudson Valley Renegades
Friday night for an incredible game and fireworks display. On Sunday, we are taking a ride up to East Durham to spend the day at Zoom Flume water park. Registrations and payment for this trip are do by the end of our camp day Tuesday (July 24th).
